‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ To Get Blu-Ray Release This September

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is set to get a 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray release this September.

Physical media fans rejoice as Zack Snyder has confirmed that his version of Justice League will be releasing on Blu-ray this fall! The film premiered as an HBO Max exclusive earlier this year. Fans believed that like most streaming services movies, the DC film wouldn’t receive a physical media release. Fortunately, Snyder himself has confirmed that his take on the DC superhero team will be hitting store shelves this September in both the 4K Ultra HD and standard Blu-ray variety.

Zack Snyder took to Twitter to share that the film will hit store shelves on September 7th. The director also shared a short promotional teaser that highlights Bruce Wayne’s journey to unite the League. Currently, no box-art has been shown, and it hasn’t been made clear if any supplemental content like behind-the-scenes footage or a director’s commentary track will be available on the Blu-ray. Still, it’s fantastic news that Snyder’s effort is getting the 4K Ultra HD treatment.

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.
