Timewalking In World of Warcraft

Timewalking is an event that allows players to experience old content with the difficulty scaled to match the current gameplay. With the World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary Celebration coming on October 22, players will be able to enjoy activities and new exclusive content until January 7. Among the new activities, Classic Timewalking will give players a chance to experience some of the iconic Classic dungeons at their current level. It also allows players to enter certain instances as if they were in Vanilla and they can easily participate in the event starting at level 10.

The Dungeons coming to the event are: Deadmines, Zul’Farrak, Dire Maul, and Stratholme. Dire Maul and Stratholme will be separated into two wings. For Dire Maul, there’ll be Warpwood Quarter and Capital Gardens, and for Stratholme, Living and Undead halves. This gives players a total of 6 dungeons they can enter for Classic Timewalking.

Classic Timewalking will also bring lots of new loot to buy using the Timewarped Badges. Players can spend them with the vendor Bobadormu, who will offer new items such as mounts, pets, reputation tokens, and transmogs. The rewards will return in the future just like Classic Timewalking since they’re going to be added into the regular rotation of Timewalking events.

Vanilla WoW had plenty of old dungeons that unfortunately will not be coming to Classic Timewalking, but players can still enter the Blackrock Depths during the 20th Anniversary Event as a brand-new raid version of the dungeon. With Azeroth remade in Cataclysm, almost every Vanilla dungeon was reworked including the ones coming to Classic Timewalking. And with it, players will now be able to experience dungeons that were inaccessible for almost 15 years. So, get ready and enjoy!
