What do you do?
What do you do when you’re trying to read and the power goes out where you live?
It’s one thing if it’s daytime and there is still enough light to see by. But I have a lantern at home that is battery powered and this is what I use if the power ever goes out at my house. It is extremely bright and it shines light in all directions instead of a single beam that you can only point in one direction. I normally keep this lantern on the night stand next to my side of the bed……just in case.
I also have a Kindle Fire. The screen automatically lights up when you’re using it so you don’t have to worry about having a light around whenever I’m reading whatever is on the screen at the time. The only downside is I have to remember to charge periodically.
So, I have a couple of different options as far as still being able to read, if the powers should ever go out at my house. I think reading on my Kindle would probably be the safer option, that way I can use my lantern for doing other things.
