Toowoomba’s Bridge Street Plaza sells to Sydney investor for $10.5m through Ray White
A major Toowoomba shopping plaza servicing the city’s emerging suburbs has sold to at interstate investor for a whopping $10.5m.
Ray White Commercial revealed a Sydney buyer had snapped up the Bridge Street Plaza in Torrington.
The centre, which features a rare Aldi supermarket as the anchor tenant along with a number of specialty stores, hit the market in April last year.

Retail sales agent Stephen Kidd said the property enjoyed strong interest during the campaign.
“We had more than 80 inquiries throughout the campaign with six contracts submitted – the winning buyer was the one able to settle in the quickest time frame,” he said.
“This sale reinforces the fact that there’s still plenty of wealth out there looking to be placed into quality assets underwritten by the property fundamentals being location, tenant diversity, and lease strength.”
