Mr Clout, of Chris Clout Design, said the multi-level home on a 500 to 600 sqm block would cost about $4 million to build.

The home includes Japanese influences such as a fish pond on the middle level.
Mr Clout said the design was “very unique”.
“I haven’t done something like this before,” he said. “There’s water everywhere and the house is elevated to get the best views from the northern end of Sunshine Beach to Coolum.”
The four-bedroom, six-bathroom home has integrated pools and water features, Mr Clout said.
“The pool out the front is like a lap pool. You can swim through the house under a bridge, and then around the outdoor entertaining area.”

An old beach shack from about 30 years ago currently sits on the sloping block, which Mr Clout described as the ‘best non beach front block’.
Other features of the luxe property include a four-car basement, a central courtyard and a rooftop terrace.

There is a large wine cellar, bar, gym, music room, and a lift. Mr Clout is known for his standout designs, particularly Crusoe House at Castaways Beach , a four-level house likened to a superyacht.
