‘The Witcher’ Footage Teases Henry Cavill’s Geralt In Season 2

Geralt is back!

Netflix dropped another trailer for The Witcher’s upcoming second season which teases what’s to come for Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia.

The Witcher became one of the biggest hits for Netflix to date, with the streamer now committing to the series with various other projects also in the pipeline. Production on the second season of the series led by Henry Cavill finally wrapped in April and is expected to hit Netflix later this year.

With The Witcher season two on the horizon, Netflix is starting to drop some teases. Footage teasing Ciri was released during Netflix’s Geeked Week, and now, we’ve got new footage focusing on the return of Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia. You can check out the new trailer below:

Here is the official synopsis for the first season of Netflix’s The Witcher:

“Based on the best-selling fantasy series, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.”

The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Aretuza, and Millie Brady as Princess Renfri, with Mimi Ndiweni and Therica Wilson-Read as novice sorcerers.
