The Backyard-Ready Wine Glasses My Friends Always Threaten to Steal from Me

My friends are decent, honest people, so I know they’d never actually steal from me. But, as a whole, they do threaten it an awful lot! Some of them want to take my dog when I’m not looking (as if she’d betray me and go with them!). Others have admitted to eyeing my mixing-slash-storage bowls. And almost every single person who comes by during the warmer months threatens to steal the insulated, stemless cup I use to serve them wine. What’s so great about these wine cups? For starters, they’re downright gorgeous. They’re also as functional as they are pretty.

Just look at these things! They’re a collaboration between Rifle Paper Co. (the single best brand, when it comes to floral designs) and Corkcicle (a brand I trust for keeping all things cold). They’re emblazoned oh-so-beautifully with Rifle’s signature flower design and have a sleek teardrop shape with two perfectly placed flat spots, which I use unofficially as a place to put my thumb. I have the white ones, but the cups also come in mint and blush pink.

As I mentioned, the cup is more than just pretty. The official claim is that the triple-insulated stainless steel technology will keep your drink hot for up to three hours, and cold for up to nine. I haven’t had anything hot out of it, but I can attest that wine stays cold — even as you get to the dregs, even if it’s sitting directly in the sun on a 90-degree day.

I also really like that the shatterproof clear lid has a sliding mechanism I can close between sips to keep bugs out. And the bottoms of the cups have a no-slip silicone ring to keep them steady. The cup part should be hand-washed, but the lid can go in the dishwasher.

At $30 a piece, they’re not inexpensive, but I’ve used cheaper insulted wine glasses and haven’t loved them (some have leaked and most failed to keep my wine cold while I sat outside). I shelled out the cash for four and that just means I will, 100 percent, be making sure I get each cup back before you leave my yard.

Do you have an insulated wine glass you love just as much? Let us know in the comments!
