Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki has lobbed her luxurious island home in Miami Beach onto the market.

The 2018 Australian Open champion and husband, two-time NBA All-Star David Lee, are looking to score $22.7 million (US$17.5 million) for the stunning waterfront condo.

The couple purchased the huge 785 sqm residence on Fisher Island in 2018 for US$13.5 million, but they don’t plan on moving very far, as they’ve reportedly opted to downsize, according to Realtor.

The cream-coloured unit is in the 10-story, 46-unit luxury condo development. Designed by architecture firm Kobi Karp, features floor-to-ceiling glass, five bedrooms, and five bathrooms.

The property, which is being sold fully furnished, also boasts views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Entrance to the home is accessed by private elevator, which leads to an open layout with walls of glass and nearly 230sqm of balcony that wraps around the perimeter, which has room for dining and sitting areas.

Other highlights of the abode include a gourmet Boffi kitchen with Gaggenau and Sub-Zero appliances, a main bedroom that has its own terrace, dual walk-in wardrobes and marble ensuite bathroom.

“From the curated spaces to the views, it’s really a special home,” listing agent, Jill Hertzberg told Realtor.

The private barrier island community can only be reached by private ferry or speedboat.

Originally from Denmark, Wozniacki, who is now retired, was the winner of 30 Women’s Tennis Association singles titles.

Lee, a two-time NBA All-Star, began his career with the New York Knicks in 2005. He also played with the Golden State Warriors, helping them to win a championship in 2015.
