Shane Warne: Brighton house with massive garage, tennis court listed
A Brighton dream home created by Shane Warne with a massive garage including a car turntable, gym and space for a billiards table is impressing on the market.
The five-bedroom, six-bathroom house at 16 Park Street is scheduled for auction on February 13 with price hopes of $9.5-$10.45m from the sellers, who bought the pad from the spin king.
CoreLogic records indicate Warnie bought the 1236sq m property for $3.7m in July 2007 and sold it for $6.775m in December 2009 after completely transforming the site’s accommodation.

Marshall White’s Andrew Campbell said the owners of the “ripping house” had a car collection well suited to the home’s garage, which could fit five or six vehicles.
“The tennis court is a drawcard because it runs north to south; in Brighton a lot of clients want the north to south tennis court,” Mr Campbell said.
“It’s also only one minute to the beach and one minute to Church Street.”
Warnie’s covered courtside outdoor entertainment area flowing from the main living space was another big pull for the pad, with a second kitchen, heaters and TV facilities.
It opens straight onto the tennis court, providing the perfect shaded position for spectators, with a luxurious pool also on hand.
Inside, there’s a cellar, office, theatre and massive main bedroom suite with freestanding bathtub and dressing room.
Warne is known for being Brighton’s most high-profile property player, buying dream homes and putting his stamp on them before selling them and moving on to the next.
He sold his most recent home, in Newbay Crescent, for an undisclosed sum in December after it passed in for $5.65m at a private auction.

He notably bought and sold a sprawling bluestone mansion at 32 Middle Crescent twice between 2001 and 2018, ultimately earning $18,888,888 for the pad, which has since been almost completely demolished, two years ago.
Local families and some international buyers have shown interest in Park Street so far.
