Picture-perfect Bilinga Hideaway could earn you a pretty penny

173 Golden Four Dr, Bilinga, is for sale for $3.25m.

A PRICE has been put on the glossy magazine-worthy beach home of health and holistic coach Chani Thompson and her husband Matt.

The multi-level coastal home, named the Bilinga Hideaway, has been listed for offers of more than $3.25m.

Golden Four Drive, Bilinga, is a sought-after location where homes rarely come to market.

Tucked at the back of a battle-axe block at No. 173 in Bilinga’s Golden Four Drive, the house was designed by architect John Campbell and crafted by award-winning builder Genco Construction.

It offers the perfect mix of luxury, tranquillity and privacy along one of the Coast’s most burgeoning beachside suburbs.

Selling agent Ed Cherry of Harcourts Coastal said the home’s good looks meant it had been attracting a lot of attention since it hit the market last month.

The home has income-earning potential as a photo shoot location.

“There’s been a steady stream of locals and Brisbane buyers through,” Mr Cherry said.

“Not a lot of homes come up in this area, so when you get a new-build like this it is very desirable.”

The Thompsons, who just had a baby boy, named Ru, built the house with the expectation that it would be their forever home, so they poured their heart and soul into the build, putting careful thought into every room nook and cranny.

“The specs and attention to detail are based on what we wanted for ourselves, so we didn’t hold back,” Mr Thompson said.

Bathed in white, it has wood floors and cabinetry, large windows, arched doorways and window frames, with the interiors styled by Kirra and Kirra.

The house would be the perfect location for a product or magazine shoot, but that is exactly what the Thompsons were hoping for.

Mrs Thompson, who built her $5m a year business from scratch in less than five years, said they wanted a home that they could turn into an income-earning opportunity.

The house is bathed in light.

“We were trying to make it a photoshoot house, which we could turn into a business once we had the baby,” Mrs Thompson said. “I even started an Instagram page for it – @Bilingahideaway.”

Of all the rooms they poured their heart into, the kitchen was given the closest scrutiny and consideration.

Every detail in the kitchen has been thought through.

Wanting it to be luxurious but functional, Mrs Thompson laboured over details such as which way cupboards opened and the proximity of appliances.

“It’s crucial to feel comfortable in the kitchen or you will end up avoiding it.”

Just as the build was nearing completion, an opportunity to work on another project proved too hard to resist and is the couple’s reason for selling the Hideaway.

“I’m sad we won’t be living in there long,” Mrs Thompson said, “but that’s OK, we’ll rebuild it again.”

Arches feature throughout the property.
