It’s hard to find game-changing storage solutions that are also aesthetically pleasing. So when tools editor Riddley called out one of her favorite finds from The Container Store, we had to share the news with you. For starters, these racks are organizational heroes, but they’re also one of the most attractive solutions we’ve seen. And if this winning combination wasn’t enough, right now you can snag them on sale for almost 20 percent off as part of The Container Store’s ongoing epic Kitchen and Pantry sale.
“I ordered a lot (and I mean a lot) of stuff, and mostly chose things I thought were the most practical and had the highest reviews,” says Riddley, who recently moved into a new house and decided to use the opportunity to create the organized kitchen of her dreams. “My absolute favorite thing I got, though, has to be four of these maple racks,” she notes.
And we get it! Look at how pretty these are — and for just $6.39! Crafted from solid maple wood, these racks will add so much beauty to kitchen cabinets, pantries, or countertops. The fact that they’re made from natural materials means they’re incredibly sturdy and long-lasting, and you really can’t go wrong with the charm that natural wood brings to just about any space. Plus, unlike plastic solutions that tend to collect gunk in corners and crevices over time, this wood solution has clean lines that’ll stay germ free.
As for putting them to use, Riddley purchased two medium and two large versions to organize her lids, baking sheets, cooling racks, and cutting boards. “All things I struggled to find storage space for previously!” she adds. While the medium size will work like a charm for smaller items like container lids, saucers, and plates, the tall size is just right for storing heavier and bulkier items.
Several reviewers also called out the versatility of these racks, with one reviewer adding they even worked for her “very narrow cabinets which don’t fit plates very well.” Personally, I’m taking a cue from Riddley and these very enthusiastic customers and snagging two mediums to place side by side. And for the price of one large latte, I’ll finally get my baking tools in order and prevent an avalanche from happening every time I open the cabinet door!
