The Pocket Operator series from Teenage Engineering is a great example of this, but if you need to take it a stage further to automate and control it externally – then the Pocket Operator MIDI Adapter V3 is for you!
This expertly-designed and popular unit is now in its third incarnation, with the ability to control all of the button-operated features using tiny ‘pogo pins’ over MIDI! A microUSB connection is used to power the device, which can be connected to a computer for MIDI control, or using the standard 5-Pin Din sockets we know and love.This latest version adds BlueTooth MIDI compatibility, with an SD card and cable included – as well as support for the new, smaller 3.5mm MIDI ports.
It’s an innovative design which means more serious Pocket Operator purveyors can automate and control the device, and integrate it into a much more complex system.
