MeArm Maker Kit Robot Arm!
I think that a set of MeArm components was about the 3rd or 4th thing I ever laser-cut! Then, armed with a stack of M3 nuts and bolts and a heap of SG90 servos, I assembled it over a couple of afternoons. It’s a great project and you get a fabulous robotic arm that you can use for all kinds of japes, experiments and learning. The reason I could download and cut my own components is that the project is open source and, in fact, it’s a widely cloned kit offered for sale all over the net. However, many of the available clones are still using the excellent but dated early revisions of the MeArm design.
This kit, direct from the MeArm creator is completely up to date with over 10 years of active development and tweaks that make it a really well-rounded and polished build. The kit contains all the laser-cut parts and all the correct lengths of M3 nuts and bolts you’ll need to construct a fully working arm as well as all the servos, wiring, and control board with two onboard thumbstick controllers, as well as a barrel jack terminated battery box for power.
By buying this kit you can also feel great that you are supporting the project originator and the continued development of the MeArm. We look forward to seeing where it’s at in another ten years’ time!
