Marvell Celebrates Earth Week
Marvell is committed to being a good steward of the environment and we are excited to mark the 2023 Earth Day on April 22 with a week-long celebration. Our employees care about protecting our planet and want to do their part both at work and beyond.

The Big 6 Sustainability Webinar:
We are kicking off the week with a global webinar with special guest speakers from Carbonauts, a company that teaches people how to reduce their carbon footprints and integrate sustainability into their day-to-day lives. Employees will learn the six biggest levers for reducing their carbon footprints. Carbonauts is a frequent guest at sustainability conferences and podcasts and the company’s clients include many Fortune 500 companies like Amazon, Chanel, Toyota, AT&T, Warner Brothers, and Netflix, to name a few. Carbonauts is on a mission to get society to the tipping point of behavior change to make sustainable living a way of life for all.
Environmental Volunteering Webinar:
We are hosting a webinar highlighting Marvell’s efforts around volunteering and supporting environmental and social causes by engaging with local communities. Sandy Rodriguez, Marvell’s Corporate Philanthropy Lead, will talk about various opportunities that Marvell employees have for volunteering time off and match programs. Sandy will also be joined by Santiago Gelerstein Moreyra and Baltasar Kalnay from Marvell Argentina who will talk about the biodiversity restoration project they organized for employees in our Cordoba office. We are also inviting Marvell’s long-standing NGO partners Second Harvest Food Bank and Rebuilding Together to talk about projects that Marvell employees have been supporting in communities where we work and live.
Global Cleanup Days:
Marvell is working towards zero waste at sites where it has control of waste management and we seek to empower our employees to do their part. Marvell offices around the world are encouraging and enabling employees to collect e-waste and other materials for recycling during this week as part of our annual Cleanup Days.
GoGreenChallenge:
Our employees are already doing so much and can inspire each other by sharing their ideas. Employees are encouraged to share ways they help to protect the environment on a special GoGreen Slack channel and can enter their name in a raffle for a chance to win a gift card.
Sustainable Food:
Our food choices make a difference in our environmental impact so we are highlighting that very tangible connection through in-person events at our campus in Santa Clara, CA. One of these features samples of local vegan ice cream Eclipse, to highlight alternative choices for a delicious treat. Even outside of Earth Week, Marvell is always carefully selecting the food vendors that we use for our cafeterias. For example, when it comes to fish and seafood, it’s all about safe and sustainable harvesting and farming. Our vegetables and fruits are seasonal and more than 90 percent of our produce comes from Greenleaf, a company promoting high standards for sustainable and organic products.
