Gavin Rubinstein who features again in the second season of the breakout show, alongside fellow sales agents D’Leanne Lewis and Monika Tu and buyer’s agent Simon Cohen, now streaming on Amazon, has gone out on a limb with his new sales pitch.

The 32-year-old who was Ray White’s No. 1 salesperson in NSW for seven straight years before leading his own venture Ray White TRG, has moved into the rag trade.

The underwear rag trade to be exact.

Filming on The Block grinds to a halt

Rubinstein, who has sold around $85 million worth of real estate in Sydney’s eastern suburbs in the last three weeks, stars in Bonds’ latest creative advertising campaign titled ‘Total package: A Portfolio for your assets’.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re a big listing or a small one, you have to protect your assets”, Mr Rubinstein spruiks in the clever 30 second commercial, after the ad begins with a half naked man standing in the middle of a the screen in just his Bonds underwear.

The man then says he can’t explain how Bonds’ new Total Packages undies work.

The ad concludes with Mr Rubinstein walking the viewer through a deluxe home that wouldn’t be out of place on Luxe Listings Sydney.

“So invest in something with a comfy entertaining area, good storage and plenty of room for the boys to hang,” he says.

“That’s protecting your assets.”

One of Mr Rubenstein’s rivals described the ad as ‘cheeky’.

Rubinstein himself described it as “just a bit of a laugh.”
