If you’re Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis, you buy a $41 million (US$32m) Bel-Air estate.
Davis quietly closed on the home in an off-market deal last month, putting US$12 million down, the Post reports.

Spanning across more than 3.5 acres, the 1,550 sqm house has eight bedrooms and eight full bathrooms.
The newly renovated main house is set in a secluded location that offers stunning views that include golf course and canyons within the guard-gated community of Bel Air Crest.
And the ‘villa style’ mansion is clearly a perfect fit for a professional athlete of Davis’ calibre, coming equipped with a full-sized basketball court, a tennis court and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

The layout of the grand mansion has seen no expense spared in its renovation, boasting high-end finishes, like custom stone, marble, and walnut wood floors.
The previous owner was real estate developer Ted Foxman, who paid $20.6 million (US$16m) for the home in 2016, and spent two years renovating it.
The deal comes after the All-Star forward secured a buyer for his Westlake Village property for $8.5 million (US$6.6m) in January. He took a small loss on the deal, after purchasing that home for $9.6 million in 2018.

His teammate, LeBron James, picked up an enormous Beverly Hills compound on almost 3 acres that he snagged for a jaw-dropping sum of $56 million (US$36.75m) last year.
