Ivanka Trump will not be joining her father Donald Trump in the White House after his historic second presidential win.

Page Six reports the businesswoman and her husband Jared Kusher have spent the past few years settling into Miami and have no plans for a return to political life.

According to the outlet, the couple, both 43, moved to Florida after a tumultuous few years in Washington D.C. where they both worked in Mr Trump’s 2017 to 2020 administration as advisers.

“Ivanka is proud of her father, she loves him, but his last presidency took its toll,” a source told Page Six.

“There were friends who turned their back on Ivanka and Jared because of Donald, and that was hurtful.

“Now she has a great life, her thoughts are she does not need to be working in the White House to make a difference.”

The pair now live with their three children on Indian Creek Island, dubbed the “Billionaire’s Bunker”, where their neighbours include close pals Tom Brady and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his fiancee, Lauren Sanchez.

The couple purchased a megamansion for a whopping $US24 million ($A35 million) in April 2021, according to Realtor.

Since snapping up the six-bedroom compound, the two have completed a gut renovation and transformed the residence into one of the most enviable properties in the neighbourhood.

Work on the property went on for more than two years, with Ivanka hosting a birthday celebration there just weeks before the renovation was finally completed in November 2023.

Property records revealed Ivanka and Kushner took out a $US15 million ($A22 million) mortgage when purchasing the home, which comes with a private boat dock and offers staggering views of Biscayne Bay.

Located in an exclusive gated community, the property was described in its original listing as a “magnificent, remodelled neoclassical masterpiece.”

The couple retained the large water feature at the front of the property. In the lavish backyard, they ripped out and then reinstalled the swimming pool.

According to the plans that were released by Miami-Dade County, the couple installed a chef’s kitchen next to the dining room and outfitted the primary suite with double closets and a beautiful spa bathroom.

The pool cabana out back was also given a total makeover, which saw a sauna, steam room, and cold plunge pool installed.

Having designed the home with entertaining in mind, the couple have hosted numerous celebrations at the property since they moved in at the end of 2023 — most recently throwing a 98th birthday celebration for Ivanka’s grandmother.

Many of the Trump family now own homes in Florida — although Ivanka’s siblings, Eric and Donald Jr., both chose to put down roots in Jupiter, which is a two-hour drive north of her home.

Jupiter is located much closer to Donald’s infamous Mar-a-Lago estate, where he has spent much of his time since leaving the White House and where he celebrated his election night victory alongside his children.

Before moving into their palatial mansion, Ivanka and Kushner had been living in a sprawling condo in the Surfside neighbourhood of Miami, where all three of their children — Arabella, 13, Joseph, 11, and Theodore, 8 — attend school.

The couple enjoyed a lengthy stay at the lavish Arte Surfside, a condo building located on the waterfront, where they are understood to have resided in a six-bedroom apartment, which was purchased for $US17 million ($A25 million) in January 2023.
