‘House Of The Dragon’ Halts Production Over Positive COVID Test
Filming will resume on Wednesday.
Production on HBO’s House of the Dragon has been put on pause due to a positive COVID-19 test.
Filming on the Game of Thrones prequel series has been underway over in the United Kingdom, with the series expected to debut sometime next year. When filming began back in the spring, we got several first look photos of the House of the Dragon characters we will soon meet.
However, Deadline has learned production on House of the Dragon has hit a little bump after a positive COVID case. Filming on the upcoming HBO series will be put on hold for two days and return to work on Wednesday. The crew member who tested positive along with close contacts will follow protocols and spend time in quarantine. This all comes as other productions like Bridgerton and Matilda have faced similar situations, with COVID cases on the rise once again in the United Kingdom.
