High-end holiday home hunters from Sydney circle waterside Killcare property
One of Killcare’s most prestigious streets is set to have its sales record challenged just six months after it was last broken.
High-end holiday home hunters from Sydney are among the buyers already circling around 32 Araluen Dr, which has come to market for the first time in 20 years.

There were only three house sales in the street last year, including 28 Araluen Dr, which set a new sales record for the street in August, when it changed hands for an impressive $2.265 million, according to CoreLogic data.
And now the five-bedroom home at No. 32, which sits across the road from the water’s edge, is set to give the record a run for its money.
The property is for sale by private treaty through Lilian Dukovski, of Professionals – Gosford, and Lea Turner and Jenny Cooper, of Way White – Killcare Peninsula.
They have set a price guide of $2,350,000 to $2,585,000 for the property.
Killcare notched up some of its biggest sales ever in 2020, including 78 Beach Dr for $4 million, the suburb’s fourth highest price ever.
Other sales that broke $2 million included 16 Beach Dr for $2.55 million; 14 Araluen Dr for $2.1 million.

Professionals sales associate Andrew Mukherjee said the property was attracting a lot of interest, especially from Sydney-based buyers looking for a luxury holiday home in a prime location.
“It is a beautiful property with a gorgeous view,” he said.
Set over two levels, the home combines versatile living spaces with multiple entertaining areas and has water views over the bay.
Mr Mukherjee said the home’s versatility offered potential to split the house into two halves to generate income or accommodate extended family or friends.
He said the property would also suit owner occupiers looking for a large family home, or investors.
