The four-bedroom property last sold for $805,000 in 2006, according to CoreLogic.
It is now on the market with a $3.45m-$3.6m asking range.
The owner said she and her husband launched the reno by taking the brown brick 1970s-era house “back to the frame”.
“It is very different today, there was a lot of money and sweat, tears and broken toes that went into the renovation,” she said.
“We stripped off all the old plaster and added new plumbing and electrical.
“We installed new flooring, roofing, windows and insulation in the floor, walls and roof.”
Outdoors, the saltwater chlorinated pool is surrounded by bluestone paving and is located near an outdoor kitchen.
The owner said her family had hosted many poolside celebrations for up to 150 people including birthdays and engagement events.
The landscaped garden, set upon 4038sq m, contains Australian and New Zealand native flora which attracts kangaroos, echidnas and the occasional koala.
The owner and her husband are planning to purchase a smaller property now their children have left home.
The owner said their son had enjoyed watching sport in the seven-seat home cinema before he moved out.
Other drawcards of the home include a gym, a built-in American Oak bar, wireless Sonos speakers throughout and balcony access from all bedrooms.
“We’re on a slight hill so you look out to all the greenery,” the owner said.
Marshall White Manningham agent Simon James Smith said the house’s listing had attracted more than 25,000 online views.
“We have had people who have come from Queensland go through the property and people from Brighton, so that’s a bit of a change for them, locals and a gentleman from Singapore,” Mr Smith said.
“Most people are just blown away by how big a job it must have been and also how great the renovation is.”
