Farnell, Dwyer Instruments agree global distribution pact

Farnell has expanded its range of sensor, instrumentation and industrial products with the addition of Dwyer Instruments, a supplier of instrumentation solutions for the worldwide HVAC and process automation markets.

The Dwyer products available at Farnell include:

  • Series 2000 Magnehelic Differential Pressure Gauges: They are a versatile and reliable choice for low differential pressure measurement. With 81 models and 27 options to choose from, customers can find a perfect gauge to suit their needs. Featuring Dwyer’s patented Magnehelic gauge movement, the Series 2000 gauge quickly indicates air or non-corrosive gas pressures, whether positive, negative (vacuum) or differential. The gauge is designed to resist shock, vibration, over-pressures and is weatherproof to IP67.The high accuracy option is twice as accurate as the standard gauge. Suitable for filter, blower, fan, and duct monitoring, among other applications.
  • Series VF Visi-Float Acrylic Flowmeter: It is a line of direct reading, precision machined, clear acrylic body flowmeters suitable for both gas and liquid applications. The fabrication of the Visi-Float flowmeter is backed by over 60 years of experience in acrylic instrument machining. This series consists of 2˝ (51 mm) and 4˝ (102 mm) scales with optional precision metering valves. It is used in various applications, including medical equipment, laboratory equipment, air samplers, gas analysers, pollution monitors, chemical injectors, and cabinet purging.

Sarah Priebe, Farnell Product Segment Leader, said, “Dwyer’s expertise in the manufacture of precision environmental, flow and level sensors is impressive, and this extensive offering of sensors and associated Dwyer products is an exciting addition to our range.”

John Grimm, Dwyer Instruments Senior Manager, Global Channel Account, added, “We couldn’t be more excited for this partnership. Farnell is a trusted partner with a reputation for keeping top sellers in stock to meet their customers’ needs.
