Registration Required

You have to register for Hilton Honors Points Unlimited to earn unlimited points.

Pro-tip: Retroactive unlimited points are not awarded. You have to register before your first stay.

Retroactive Points

You will not earn retroactive points on your stay.

It’s a good idea to register for the offer even if you don’t have any current reservations booked during the promotion period.

Because if you stay at a Hilton Hotel now through May 2, 2021 and didn’t register before your stay, you will not earn the promo points.

Can You Earn Points on Hilton Reward Stays

You can earn points on Hilton reward stays because a points stay counts as an eligible night.

If you have an award night book during the Hilton Honors Points Unlimited promotion, you should register.

For example: You have a 2 night reward stay on January 19 and 20.

You’ll earn 2,000 points from the promotion plus any points from spending.

Pro-tip: On Hilton Rewards stays you can earn points on any incidental spending such as hotel restaurant charges and spa purchases.

How to Maximize Hilton Honors Points Unlimited Offer

You can maximize the Hilton Honors Points Unlimited offer in three ways.

Single Night Stays

If you have Hilton hotel stays during the promotion period, consider booking single night stays to maximize this offer.

Because you earn 2,000 points per stay, if you stay at the same hotel for 2 nights you’ll only earn 2,000 points for that stay.

But if you stay at 2 different hotels for those 2 nights, you’ll earn 4,000 points for that stay.

Pro-tip: This works best in larger cities that have Hilton hotels near each other or a relatively short drive apart.

Choosing The Right Hotel

Another way to maximize the points earned from this offer is by choosing the right hotel.

With the Hilton Honors Points Unlimited promo, you’ll earn 2,000 points per stay at any Hilton hotel. If you have Hilton Gold or Hilton Diamond status you earn additional bonus points per stay for different Hilton brand hotels.

  • Waldorf Astoria Hotels: Hilton Gold and Hilton Diamond earn 1,000 bonus points
  • Conrad, Curio, Hilton, and Doubletree: Hilton Gold and Hilton Diamond earn 1,000 bonus points
  • Canopy and Embassy Suites: Hilton Gold earns 500 bonus points, Hilton Diamond earns 1,000 bonus points
  • Hilton Garden Inn: Hilton Gold and Hilton Diamond earn 750 points
  • Hampton and Homewood: Hilton Gold and Hilton Diamond earn 250 bonus points
  • Home2 Suites: Hilton Gold and Hilton Diamond earn 100 bonus points
  • Hilton Garden Vacations: Hilton Gold earns 1,000 bonus points, Hilton Diamonds earn 2,000 bonus points

By strategically choose the right Hilton hotel for your stay you can earn more bonus points. Instead of staying at a Hampton, choose the Hilton Garden Inn for an extra 500 points.

Pay With Your Hilton Credit Card

When you pay with your Hilton credit card you can maximize your earned points.

When Will Points Post

Points will post six to eight weeks after your stay. But sometimes they post sooner.

Conclusion

You can earn unlimited points in the Hilton Honors Points Unlimited promotion for Hilton hotel stays through May 2, 2021, if you’ve registered for the offer.

Every stay earns 2,000 points in addition to any base points you earn.

Plus you’ll earn a bonus of 5,000 points for every 5 nights stayed during the promotion period. Nights do not have to be consecutive.

It’s a good idea to register for the promotion whether or not you have current Hilton stays booked or plan to stay at a Hilton hotel. Because points are not awarded retroactively. You have to register before you first stay.
