We’re in a golden age for vintage vehicles. Browsing today’s lineup of online car auctions gives you a front-row seat to all the action—and a fun way to put one of these rides in your garage.

The Best Car and Truck Auctions
1. 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series
These days, Mercedes sells a long list of AMG vehicles, but back in 2008, rides from the company’s in-house tuner were much rarer—and this one was a particular standout (and still is today). The wide tires, flared wheel arches, and chrome exhaust tips give this car an aggressive look that pairs well with what’s under the hood: a massive, hand-assembled 6.2-liter V8 that churns out 500 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. Get ready to go fast.
2. 1988 Jeep Wagoneer Limited
From its wood paneling and comfy leather interior to its bulletproof engine and 4×4 capability, there are lots of reasons to love this Jeep. But the biggest selling point might be its overall condition: It shows just 38,000 miles on the odometer, and even the underbody looks clean and rust-free. It might be three decades old, but this vintage 4×4 still has plenty of life left.
3. 1973 Volvo 1800ES
When most people think of a Volvo wagon, they have a very clear image in their heads: The iconic, unapologetically boxy Volvo 240. This car hails from an earlier era at the Swedish automaker, when swooping, curved lines reigned supreme. Marketed as a sporty car with added cargo room, the 1800ES was distinguished by its long roofline and massive glass rear hatch. This example is reportedly in good condition and just had a full tune up—an ideal classic cruiser with plenty of room for gear and groceries.
4. 1980 Mercedes-Benz 280GE
Although today’s G-Wagens have become ultra-luxe status symbols, they were originally designed as utilitarian off-roaders, and this 1980 model stays close to those roots. Inside, the only “luxury” is the plaid seats, but it does come equipped with four-wheel drive and dual locking differentials for maximum grip on rough roads (perfect for leaving those modern luxo-barges in the dust).
5. 1994 Peugeot 106 Rallye S1
Always wanted a rally car? Now’s your chance to own one. This ‘94 Peugeot 106 reportedly raced in rally events in Italy before being imported to the U.S. this year. It’s powered by a fuel-injected 1.3-liter inline-four paired with a close-ratio five-speed manual transmission, and inside it’s all business: The soundproofing, interior cladding, AC, and power steering system have all been deleted to save weight. Time to perfect your Scandinavian Flick.
