Donald Trump’s Diet Coke Button No Longer In The Oval Office After Joe Biden Removes It – Memes Ensue!

Joe Biden has been president for a day and he is already making some major changes and pretty much erasing Donald Trump‘s legacy – starting with his Diet Coke button! That’s right! Some new pics from the Oval Office prove that Joe Biden found no use in the little red button that used to rest on the desk when Trump was still in charge.

In case you did not know, the wooden box with the red button was installed so that every time Trump wanted a diet coke, he would press it and a butler would show up with some diet coke on a silver platter!

But now that Trump is gone, so is the button and the internet had a blast joking about it!

It all started with Chief Political Commentator for Time Radio, Tom Newton Dunn, pointing out in a tweet that the red button box is no longer part of the Oval Office decor in the new pictures of Joe Biden at the desk, signing papers.

He also provided a throwback snap of Trump in the exact same chair and sure enough, the button could be seen to his left.

In the caption, he noted: ‘President Biden has removed the Diet Coke button. When @ShippersUnbound and I interviewed Trump in 2019, we became fascinated by what the red button did. Eventually Trump pressed it, and a butler brought in a Diet Coke on a silver platter. It is gone now.’

Immediately after, the platform got filled with reactions of all kind to the revelation of the red button.

Here are a couple of the tweets on the matter: ‘I’m torn between rolling my eyes at the absurdity of it all, but also knowing deep in my soul I would not/could not say no to a diet coke button if one was ever offered to me.’ / ‘So many people asking if this is a joke, and I regret to inform you it is not. that button truly was to order a diet coke. he reportedly drank twelve cans a day. i hate that i know this.
