David and Victoria Beckham look set to live the high life on Miami Beach, reportedly setting their sights on a newly built $116m (US$80m) mega-mansion.

David and Victoria are in the process of buying the nine-bedroom, nine bathroom home, which is now pending sale, according to Realtor.com records.
Described as being one of “Miami Beach’s most significant estates,” the expansive property boasts 1,325 sqm of living space and a private waterfront space, including a dock, according to its listing.
Inside the home, there are a gym and spa, a chef’s kitchen and a home movie theatre.
The “sophisticated” interior and exterior designs were also created by architect Choeff Levy Fischman in collaboration with Antrobus Design Collective and luxury home builder Bart Reines.
And if the beach is ever too windy to enjoy, the home also comes with a stunning private pool surrounded by lush, landscaped gardens and a large, outdoor entertaining area.
3.6m-high ceilings and full-length windows allow the home to be flooded with natural light at all times, while tall palm trees on either side of the gardens.

There is also a large rooftop area where the Beckhams will be able to enjoy panoramic ocean and city views.
And if the day is clear enough, Becks might even be able to watch his team in action from the luxury of his own home.
The property had been sitting on the market since November 2022, according to records, and was last sold in 2018 for a relatively low price of $14.6m (US$10m).
According to The Real Deal, the home’s previous owner was property developer Niklas de la Motte, who completely transformed the home before putting it back on the market — complete with an impressive price increase.
Should the sale of the home go through, it will be the second Miami Beach home for David and Victoria, who already own a penthouse, which they purchased in 2020 for a whopping $20m (A$29m).
