Cooper Cronk and Tara Rushton buy new $8.75 million mansion on Sydney’s lower north shore
The retired NRL champion turned Fox Sports expert Cooper Cronk and his wife Tara Rushton, Channel 10’s versatile sports presenter, have bought back into the Mosman market on Sydney’s pricey lower north shore.
They have paid $8.75 million for a home that was designed by architect Luigi Rosselli in 2007.
They sold their former Mosman abode for $4.95 million last July.
It was home they had bought for $3.5 million when Cronk departed Melbourne, where he’d played with the premiership-winning Storm.

Last month Cronk offloaded his former Richmond townhouse for $1.441 million, having listed it with $1.2 million to $1.3 million hopes.
The two-storey bachelor pad with a single-car lock-up garage had cost $579,000 in 2006.
The property had been a rental since being listed in 2017 at $825 a week, and then at $795 a week when last offered in 2019.
Cronk chose to quit the Storm after 14 years, eventually moving to Sydney after he and Rushton got engaged in January 2017.
They wed in December that year at Jonah’s at Whale Beach on Sydney’s northern beaches.
The parents of two boys, Lenny and Harley are often seen at north shore eateries including Heirloom Espresso at Mosman, the terrace overlooking the beach at Betel Leaf at Balmoral Bathers and Kojiro at Mosman.
And back home there’s always sport of one kind or another on the television screen.
Cronk and Rushton snapped up their acquisition just two weeks into its Belle Property auction campaign in February on delayed settlement terms. It settled last week.
Set on 720sq m, the two-level home is located in what was marketed as a family friendly cul-de-sac in a bushland setting.

Based on five years’ worth of sales, Mosman has seen a compound growth rate of 19 per cent for houses.
Over at Beauty Point, the Rosselli-designed home of George and Erica Gregan remains listed through McGrath Mosman agents Chad Campbell and Adrian Rae at $9.6 million.
