‘Black Panther 3’: Letitia Wright Teases Shuri’s Return To The MCU
Could Shuri be making her return to the MCU? Letitia Wright plays coy when asked about the possibility of fans getting a Black Panther 3.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was one of the most hyped movies in the recent MCU. However, despite rocking the world upon release, there’s been no news on a Black Panther 3 almost two years out. However, when asked if she’d ever return as Shuri, Letitia Wright seemed to know something fans don’t.
“I mean, if it’s — let’s just say, let’s just say…” Wright explained to The Wrap, holding back a laugh. “I would like to continue with Shuri. She’s one of my favorite characters, such a blessing, honestly. I kid you not, I’m so grateful for her.”
MCU fans know that a laugh and a non-answer is basically all they need to know an actor is making a return to their role. Given Letitia Wright has already been in an Avengers film, it would make sense for Shuri to continue on in that franchise. However, it seems good news may be on the horizon for Black Panther 3.
Black Panther 3 May Be On Its Way
With Letitia Wright circling around her return to the MCU, the interviewer decided to drop all pretense when it came to Black Panther 3. When asking the Shuri actor if she thought a sequel was on its way, she seemed relatively hopeful, teasing “There’s a lot to, a lot to — a lot coming up.”
It would be easy for Letitia Wright to say that she wants Black Panther 3 or hopes for a future for the franchise in the MCU. This answer all but assures that Shuri and Wakanda will continue their story with at least one more sequel. This not to mention the multiple spin-offs coming down the pipleine!
