Harcourts, North Geelong agent Jasmin Jurkovic said she was interested to see how it would perform when it hit the market late last year, given the opinion many buyers had of the area.

The modern kitchen is part of an open-plan living space.

“The original purchasers were from Melbourne and they were basically retiring and going back to Adelaide,” she said.

Ms Jurkovic said they had quickly worked out the area after purchasing in 2019, but they had no problems at all.

She said the buyers were homeowners keen to move in.

The house offers three first-floor bedrooms and a retreat, with another bedroom, plus a study and the main lounge, kitchen and dining room on the ground floor.

“They like the proximity — it’s close to everything, with the medical centres, the pool and the lady works in the medical facility that’s just been built,” Ms Jurkovic said.

“It ticks all the boxes and believe it or not, I had a lot of people inspecting the property.”
