Bally’s Las Vegas Pool: Best Vegas Strip Pool With Deep End
Planning a trip to Las Vegas and staying at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino? Bally’s Las Vegas Pool is the best and only Vegas Strip pool with a deep end. All the other Vegas hotels and casino pools are only several feet deep.
The Blu Pool at Bally’s offers a 12-foot deep end. You can swim laps without scraping your knees and knuckles on the bottom of the pool floor. The Olympic size pool offers lots of space for pool-goers to sit around in one of the many free loungers, play in the water, and swim.
If you want an basic pool with a deep end, a few palms trees, in the center of the Strip, Bally’s pool is for you!
Bally’s Blu Pool
You can sit on the edge of Bally’s Blu Pool with your feet in the water. Want to sit in the water while getting sun? There’s a running shallow ledge along the side of the pool closest to the bar.
Or stick your feet in, stand, or sit, relaxing with a drink in one of the five Baja shelves. A Baja shelf, also called a Baja Step, sun shelf, tanning shelf, and tanning ledge is a shallow cut-out sitting area.
It lets you enjoy the water without total submersion. A Baja shelf is a safe place for your children to play in the pool. These are on the side of the pool closest to the entrance.
When the Blu Pool was built, Bally’s was the original MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. At that time, Baja Shelves were the epitome of luxury. In Las Vegas, there are only a few pools with a tanning ledge.
