‘Agatha All Along’ Trailer Subtitles Accidentally Reveal Joe Locke’s Marvel Hero
Looks like Marvel made a big mistake in the Agatha All Along trailer! Subtitles on the latest set of footage accidentally reveal the identity of Joe Locke’s mysterious hero.
One of the biggest mysteries surrounding Agatha All Along is who Joe Locke will actually be playing in the series. Up until now, Marvel has simply referred to the character as “The teen”. However, it seems the mystery has finally come to an end in one of the show’s final trailers, which confirms that Locke will be playing the highly-anticipated Young Avenger Billy Kaplan, a.k.a. the Wiccan.
This is far from a surprising revelation. Ever since it was announced that Joe Locke had been cast in Agatha All Along, rumors have been circulating that he’d be playing Billy Kaplan due to his age and the show’s connection to the Scarlet Witch. Yet with the series just a few weeks from premiering, the reveal that he’s playing Wiccan is likely to spoil the surprise for Marvel’s more casual fans that they were appealing to with this charade.
Joe Locke’s Future In The Marvel Universe
Even though Agatha All Along isn’t even out yet, it’s clear that Marvel has big plans for Joe Locke in the MCU. While the obvious next step for Billy Kaplan is a Young Avengers project, which was all but confirmed with a cameo in a recent film, Wiccan himself has a long line of stories that the studio could pull from in order to create a solo project.
Marvel is already seemingly at work putting that future into practice after Agatha All Along. A recent rumor suggests that the studio is already looking at actors to play Billy Kaplan’s love interest Hulkling, with the top candidate seemingly being one of Joe Locke’s old co-stars. Though with only a week left until the show hits Disney Plus, it won’t take long for the truth about Wiccan to be revealed.
Agatha All Along is set to release on Disney Plus on September 18, 2024. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
