Abbie Chatfield’s big home plans revealed
Former reality TV star Abbie Chatfield rarely keeps anything she does to herself, and now the formerly property analyst is spruiking her home flipping plans.
The everywhere and everything influencer dropped her hard-earned on a savvy buy in sought-after beach haven Tamarama in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs in May.
The two-bedroom apartment was on the market for months until Chatfield swooped shortly before its second Ray White auction attempt paying $1.758m.
The 80 sqm apartment has a lounge that opens to a sunroom, an as new bathroom, and an eat-in kitchen.
It is a tightly held art deco block where the longest owner paid $68,500 in 1984.
Now Chatfield is planning a full reno of her new hip pad.

“Hey Queens, I’m renovating my apartment so anyone who’s renovated before, like, drop your fave brands for anything,” she declared on Instagram.
“I’m pretty much doing a full redesign.”

Perhaps it’s a way of ‘influencing’ home lifestyle brands to give her free stuff with which to decorate her apartment?
She was a first homebuyer last year, in the Byron Bay hinterland, when paying $1.45 million for a home that was marketed as a “romantic timber cottage”, with a twist of rustic and modern flair.

It was built in 2019, shortly after the sloping 800 sqm building block sold for $315,000 to builder Casey Pearman and wife Sara.
The house was known as La Casa Black and was inspired by the couple’s love of California.
The home, with whitewashed floors, features a home office.
The marketing advised there could be a second level built subject to council permission. Chatfield has nearly 400,000 followers on Instagram after finding fame on The Bachelor Australia in 2019.
She hosts a radio program, Hot Nights With Abbie, on the Hit Network on week nights.
Chatfield recently told Saturday Confidential that she was sure to keep her nine-to-five job as a property analyst, thinking the Australian public would never want to see her again following her appearance on The Bachelor in 2019.
“I was a villain, there’s no denying that,” Chatfield said.
“So I kept my nine-to-five, full-time job for six months after the show,” she noted.
