Called Pinto, East Fork describes the glaze as “a muted mauve that makes a really beautiful backdrop for food.” I got my hands on a Pinto-glazed Everyday bowl a few weeks ago, and I have to admit, it’s gorgeous! The color is a subtle brown with specks of graphite grey, yet it has a slight pink shimmer that makes it oh-so attractive. And like all East Fork pieces, the bowl has a sturdiness and heft that makes me think I’m going to be using it until I’m 80!
We’re pretty certain the collection will be flying off the shelves within minutes of going live, but if you can’t get one right away, don’t worry; East Fork says they plan to keep restocking the glaze through April. “We don’t anticipate our usual mad-dash sellouts that we often see with limited glaze releases.” Phew!
