See Taron Egerton As Red Hood For Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’
The ‘Kingsman’ star goes ‘Under The Red Hood’.
Taron Egerton becomes Jason Todd in a new concept design that sees the Kingsman star suited up as Red Hood for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman universe.
Although The Batman will explore the early years of Bruce Wayne’s career as the Dark Knight, many fans are hoping to see the rest of the Bat-Family show up in future films to help keep Gotham City’s criminals at bay. One member of the team who often doesn’t get enough love in the shadows of Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl is Red Hood. A surprising fan-made image casts as Taron Egerton as the perfect version of Jason Todd to go toe-to-toe with Robert Pattinson in The Batman.
The artwork from Instagram user ‘Mizuriau’ gives Taron Egerton the classic Red Hood look complete with a metallic domino mask. The art’s taken from the promotional material for Egerton’s Robin Hood film, but it’s hard to deny that he looks perfect as Red Hood. The second image show off a full look at what a Red Hood suit could look like on the big screen, and it’s definitely an intimidating costume. We’ll next see the character in Titans season three played by Curran Walters, before fans take control of Jason themselves in the Gotham Knights game. Take a look at Taron Egerton as Red Hood for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman below.
Would you like to see Taron Egerton become Red Hood opposite Robert Pattinson in The Batman? Or do you think the series should introduce Dick Grayson first? Who else could Taron Egerton play in the DC Extended Universe? Let us know in the comments section!
The plot of The Batman is being kept under wraps, but we know the film will follow Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his second year as Gotham City’s Dark Knight. The Batman will also show off the hero using his skills as a detective more than what we’ve seen before in previous versions of the character. It is also expected to be the first installment in a new trilogy of films starring Pattinson.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, Robert Pattinson stars as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
The Batman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on Taron Egerton, Robert Pattinson and Red Hood, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content.
