‘WandaVision’ Concept Art Reveals Elizabeth Olsen’s Hooded Scarlet Witch

It’s a mystical look for the hero.

New concept art from Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision reveals a slightly different look for Scarlet Witch at the end of the Disney Plus series.

It’s been quite a little while since WandaVision wrapped up its run on Disney Plus, but by the time the series ended audiences were introduced to an impressive new costume for the Scarlet Witch. But like most heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the suit went through a few different iterations before the version we saw in the show. We’ll next see Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch in the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel, and the star previously explained how fun it is to work with director Sam Raimi.

The new Scarlet Witch concept art comes from the director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios Andy Park, who explained it was fun creating the Scarlet Witch costume with both the cape and hood, as well as without them. The concept art shows a slightly different style for the hero, as it gives her shoulder pads which presumably connect to her hood and cape combination. We did see Elizabeth Olsen put her hood up at the end of WandaVision after she said goodbye to Monica Rambeau – but it was brief. Take a look at the Scarlet Witch concept art below.

What do you make of the concept art? Did you enjoy WandaVision? Were you impressed by Elizabeth Olsen’s new Scarlet Witch costume? Sound-off in the comments below!

You can read the official synopsis for WandaVision below.

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Matt Shakman directed the series with Jac Schaeffer as the lead scribe; WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Evan Peters as Ralph Bohner, and Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness. Marvel’s Kevin Feige has said that the series leads into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
