Price of paradise rising: $1.5m deposit, $28k a month repayments
The deal was struck last month, according to CoreLogic property records, but the price has been kept under wraps for now.
The pair welcomed their daughter Indigo to the world during 2020 and plan to get stuck into the renovating game again.
“We are hoping to find a new renovation project also which makes 2021 kind of exciting for us. Time to dust off the old work boots,” they told their legion of Instagram followers.
The couple had bought the Rochedale home off Will’s father for $350,000 five years ago, before they began a whirlwind media ride during the 2016 season of the show that they ended up winning.
The land alone was estimated at about $340,000 two years ago, according to CoreLogic, with Will’s parents having paid $75,000 for the block in 1987.
The couple – who pocketed $715,000 profit over their reserve plus a $100,000 winner’s cheque on The Block – renovated the Rochedale home and controversially decided to replace a lockup garage with a master bedroom and storage space.

They described their personal home renovation as “no Block masterpiece however it is filled with some pretty incredible memories! Let’s hope the new owners can fill this home with some pretty amazing memories also”.
The home has four bedrooms, one bathroom and is airconditioned with plantation shutters.
The sale was handled by agent Lisa Etri of Ray White Rochedale who had listed it as having been “stylishly renovated”.
