Seven Network exec Bruce McWilliam lists Point Piper waterfront ‘masterpiece’ for $35m

42A Wolseley Road, Point Piper, has a $35m price guide in an expressions of interest campaign.

Just days after selling in Bellevue Hill for more than $9m, Seven Network commercial director Bruce McWilliam has listed another investment property, this time a Point Piper waterfront for $35m.

The five-bedroom, five bathroom residence with two-car garage and infinity pool at 42A Wolseley Road, was purchased for $10.65m in 2013.

But just recently, the four-level residence has been dramatically transformed into a “waterfront masterpiece” by the acclaimed design firm Blainey North + Associates.

There are even steps leading down to a sandy beach.

The prized listing, with McWilliam’s friend, Brad Pillinger of Pillinger — who sold the Victoria Road Spanish Mission investment property this week for way above its $8.5m price guide — is so fresh that fresh internal images are not yet available.

The Wolseley Road residence is on a battle-axe waterfront block.

But to give our readers a sneak preview of the basic layout and views, the Wentworth Courier has accessed pre-renovation images, when the home was bought eight years ago.

The due-west north-facing property captures uninterrupted harbour, Bridge and city skyline views.

The living areas open to wide colonnaded terraces.

Iconic views.

The original charm remains, with the residence featuring French windows and high ceilings.

Thanks to its lavish renovation, it has an internal lift and a host of beautiful finishes.

It now comes with a whole-floor master suite, sophisticated marble kitchen, expansive living and dining areas, a family room and a large rumpus room.

To top it all off, there are also poolside decks around the infinity pool and a lawn facing the waterfront where you can enjoy the tremendous views.

In a recent exclusive interview with the Wentworth Courier regarding the listing of his Victoria Road listing, McWilliam said: “Sometimes you have to refresh the portfolio.”

McWilliam resides in another waterfront mansion in Wolseley Road, near close friend and former business partner Malcolm Turnbull.

Separate sources estimate he owns $100m worth of residential property in the eastern suburbs, not counting a substantial portfolio of commercial property in Double Bay.
