Soul singer Lisa Hunt lists resort-style Suffolk Park home with $2.875 million guide
Soul singer Lisa Hunt has listed her Suffolk Park home, set south of the popular work from home Byron Bay township. Hunt is seeking $2.875 million for the resort-style home.
Located just two minutes from Tallows Beach, the five-bedroom entertainer’s haven on 650sqm has a number of living areas, with bi-fold doors opening to the outdoors where there’s a heated saltwater pool with glass artwork.

Demand high for surf legend’s property
Hunt, who is regularly touring, paid $920,000 in 2015 when moving from nearby. And she’s not intending on moving far from Byrce St, maybe to a smaller house on the beach, or a block of land where she will build.
Since childhood Hunt has been singing the gospel African American church style, and studied voice at The City College of New York.
McGrath Byron Bay listing agents Ian Daniels and Susan Whyte say in the marketing that the home has been meticulously designed to be the “ultimate private oasis.”
“I’ve pretty much changed everything but the structure,” Hunt told The Sell about her renovations through her ownership.

“I bought the house and then left for vacation to Italy the next day. I designed the pool while lying on a beach in Sardinia.
“I sent my husband to India for three months so I could do the renovations without him bothering me,” Hunt recalled.
The median price in Suffolk Park is $1,225,000 after 63 house sales over 2020, according to realestate.com.au, which calculated its recent annual compound growth rate as 8.9 per cent.
