Daredevil: Born Again is laying the ground work for some very interesting stories with its first few episodes. Sadly, with production on season 2 happening simultaneously to the first season airing, it means that some dedicated fans may be able to piece together plotlines from the show before they actually get resolved. And perhaps the most prescient of these matters is Wilson Fisk’s war on vigilantes.
One of the biggest parts of the Wilson Fisk’s campaign, as well as the marketing for Daredevil: Born Again, is the newly elected mayor waging a war against vigilantes. Up to this point in the series (as fans are watching it), this hasn’t led to much besides public prejudice against heroes by certain members of the population. However, this newest batch of set photos for season 2 suggests that things will quickly be ramping up in intensity.
Fisk Cracks Down On Vigilantes In Season 2
With Daredevil: Born Again filming season 2 on the streets of New York, fans have fairly easily been able to spot a number of extras and set design pieces that seem to give the game away when it comes to Wilson Fisk’s plans for vigilantes. Namely, that the mayor will be creating an anti-vigilante task force to try to take down any costumed heroes that stand in his way of re-making the glorious and gritty city in his image.

What’s interesting is that the logo for this anti-vigilante task force shares a stark resemblance to the Punisher’s logo. This lines up with rumors prior to the release of Daredevil: Born Again that copycats will be taking on the anti-hero’s cause for themselves. It’s unclear if the use of this logo is endorsed by Wilson Fisk, or if there will be defectors from the group in season 2 that will take their enforcement of laws to the extreme.
