Jennifer Lawrence Gets Her Eye Injured After On-Set Explosion Sends Shards Of Glass Flying Everywhere!
After an explosion took place on the set of Don’t Look Up, Jennifer Lawrence was injured by shards of glass! Apparently, the actress hurt her eye while shooting the movie that also stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Timothée Chalamet.
One insider told E! News that the explosion was used for a stunt involving glass shattering but it went wrong since some of the glass hit Jennifer Lawrence in the eye.

While that is definitely a really scary and dangerous situation, the source assured fans that the actress is going to make a full recovery, no permanent damage having been made to her vision.
Regardless, Page Six reported that production was stopped for the day.
Other big names acting in this end of the world project are Chris Evans, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep as well as Ariana Grande.
At this point in time, there are no reports on whether others were also on set at the time and if anyone else was injured.
As per TMZ, the explosion took place in a restaurant and the outlet also shared a pic of Jennifer and Timothee kissing in a scene that is set right before the explosion.
Jennifer Lawrence has also been photographed on set rocking red hair with bangs, a grey coat and black boots and it’s safe to say already that her character looks really cool!
This is not the only accident in which she was involved in the span of 12 months, however.
Fans know that back in December, the actress opened up via People, about the fire that burned down her family farm.
‘Thankfully, because of our amazing firefighters and first responders, no one was hurt and all of the animals were kept safe. When my brother Blaine took it over, he applied his creative mind and fun spirit and expanded a camp which was already the coolest, because it was the only place where kids could do whatever they wanted. A muddy messy paradise,’ she told the news outlet.
