If you’re not yet familiar with the turners and wondering what’s so great about them, let me tell you, they’re awesome. How do I know? Well, I have been using mine for three months now, and while I never thought I would fall in love with an everyday utensil, turns out I did.

Priced at just $15, this turner is the one tool I reach for at least twice a day. It’s replaced almost every other utensil I used before (except tongs!), and I have happily discovered that it does more than just flip pancakes. For instance, I use mine for everything from delicate masala omelets to rotis, and even dosas! In the past, I had to split my omelets in half before flipping them over, but the cleverly designed turner beautifully slides under dishes, giving me enough leverage to confidently go in for a flip without causing any accidents.

Unlike many other spatulas I have used over the years, the turner features a strong inner core that holds up against high temperatures (it’s heat resistant up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit) without bending or warping. The head is wide, incredibly roomy, and features a sloped edge that makes it a lot easier to slip the spoon under delicate dishes. Plus, a special shout out to the tough and grippy handle that has a slight curve to prevent it from slipping into the pan (and my food!). Once I’m done cooking, my trusty tool goes in the dishwasher for fuss-free cleanup.

Unlike my other utensils that have charred edges or have taken on the colors of my spice cabinet, Material’s sturdy turner is truly stain resistant. I have it in soft white (aka Oyster), and even though I liberally sprinkle turmeric and red chili powder on all my meals, I haven’t noticed any stains or discoloration yet. It’s still as beautiful as the day it arrived on my doorstep.

In addition to Oyster, the turner also comes in a slick Blue Grey and lovely Terra Rosa. The colors are thoughtfully chosen to complement Material’s wide range of products, including their uber-popular cutting board and coated pan, so you can mix and match to create your own colorful setup. My only word of caution? Don’t wait too long to snag this beauty. Given its past track record, you’d better grab yours while you still can.
