Don Cheadle Reveals When Filming Will Begin On ‘Armor Wars’
War Machine actor Don Cheadle shared his excitement for Armor Wars and revealed when the Disney Plus series will start filming.
Marvel Studios is expanding their cinematic universe to Disney Plus, and it’s allowing for some side characters who have been around for a while, get their due. Don Cheadle’s War Machine has been in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man 2, and he’s finally getting his chance to shine with the upcoming series inspired by Iron Man’s Armor Wars comic book storyline.
The Armor Wars series will be without Tony Stark, which means Don Cheadle’s War Machine is stepping into the lead role. Cheadle recently teased the Marvel Studios series and when filming will begin while talking to ET:
“It’s going to be dope. We’re really going to have a chance to explore a lot of stuff about [James] Rhodes. I mean, you look at what we’ve done so far, there’s a lot left to be explored. So I think there’s a lot of real estate that we’re going to dig into. “It’s going to be just fully wide open. We’re going to start filming in a couple months and we’ll see.”
