Which one?

I had been asked this question a couple days ago and while I have been thinking about it, I thought it would make a good article for my blog. But I’m not only going to answer the question, I’m going to take it a step further and explain why I made my choice.
Now, keep in mind that I didn’t take this lightly. Like I said, I was asked this question a couple of days ago and so I’ve been thinking about it a lot. There are a lot of great characters in that list that I really liked during the Harry Potter series (for different reasons, of course). Every one of them interacted with Harry at some point in the series and had an impact on his life while he attended Hogwarts.
I ended up choosing Professor Remus Lupin. I’ll admit that Remus Lupin is one of my favorite characters from the Harry Potter series, I cannot lie about that, but that’s not exactly why I picked him. I picked him because then that wouldn’t leave Teddy Lupin with at least one of his parents after the war. I know the same argument could be made for Nymphadora Tonks but I also picked Professor Lupin because that would also leave Harry with at least one tie to his parents (especially his father).
